The summer’s out of reach
The Jersey Shore could be in for an unusual summer. This “shelter in place” is growing longer than most anticipated. Today the Governor announced schools in New Jersey will be closed the rest of the school year. Great news for students, potentially life-altering news for everyone else.
Summer at the Jersey Shore is where a higher-than-normal percentage of businesses in this area make their money. While weather ALWAYS has an impact, this virus may keep folks away from most of their usual activities. And that could spell a problem.
So the calendar may say it’s summer, it may not mean “business as usual” down at the Jersey Shore.
