Recently, our very own Brendan Mullooly was selected as one of the Top 100 Financial Advisors of 2019. This is a nationwide list of the best advisors in the country, according to Investopedia. You can see the list here.
Brendan has been with our growing family business since 2012. He and I host a weekly podcast (The Mullooly Asset Management podcast. Clever name, eh?). And while he writes for the Mullooly Asset website, Brendan also writes on his own (newer) blog, Your Brain On Stocks.
I encourage you to check out his new site, and subscribe.
As Brendan’s father I am beaming with joy, and so very proud of this recent accomplishment. But what some readers may not know is Brendan has had a huge role in our firm being named to the AdvisoryHQ Top Ten Advisory firms in New Jersey in both 2017 and 2018.
I think (for me) it’s so very rewarding to see a member of the family, a member of our team, grow and succeed. And while his profile continues to emerge nationally across the investment industry, there’s something else Brendan does that really impresses me:
And that is listening to Brendan speak on the phone with our clients, on a daily basis.
Our offices are situated near each other. So periodically I will overhear part of the conversations he has with our clients. I cannot describe the feelings I have knowing he is doing several things at once. This includes listening to the client, getting an understanding of the situation/problem, and respectfully floating some suggestions/ideas to the recipient. And all done in a humble, professional manner.
What some may not know, is we all work together as a team here at Mullooly Asset. Every team member knows what’s happening with our clients. We hold a daily meeting each morning. This is to bring each other up-to-speed on who we met with (or spoke with) the previous day, and who we plan to meet with in the coming day. That daily meeting is a crucial piece in knowing what’s happening at the firm, with our clients, and where the business is going.
Brendan has become a master student of the investing and financial world, and he drives a significant chunk of the research and planning we perform here. I have to add that he works very hard on a daily basis, honing his craft. I’m impressed with this kind of work ethic and dedication, as an employer (and as a Dad!). Brendan truly understands and believes we can help our clients better understand money, finance, investing. As well as help folks get on (or stay on) a secure financial path.
Congratulations Brendan!
